I wonder if it could be used on condoms to make them last longer. Also reduce the allergic reaction some people have with plastics or similar.
Perhaps on transplant organs to reduce the issues for the first few weeks (slowing dissolves protective coating). Patient is then in a lot better shape to handle any side effects.
Oh the list goes on in my computer.
