Airbus will lead a spearhead project in the Graphene Flagship to develop ice protection systems using graphene to help reduce the complexity of the systems and especially to be able to have a system which uses less energy, to reduce fuel consumption, to reduce emissions of CO2 and NOx and so to be more environmentally friendly in aviation.
