Patent filed registers the applicants claim that they have created a novel invention and gives protection from that date.
The next step is launch of the discovery process, to prove that the claim is valid and there are no other pre existing similar patents.
If a sufficiently similar existing patent is discovered the new claim is dismissed in favour of the earlier patent

The capital raising is premised on the rights to exploit the patents filed. At this stage granting of the filed patents by VVV is in serious doubt IMO.
I am now raising a white flag and have exited LWP
