The main reason being the sheer investment globally that has gone into lithium..The investment by the car manufacturers..The investment by the mega battery factories..The investment in infrastructure & planning that's slowly getting implemented..More so in Europe & the USA than Australia at present.

The businesses across the world will want to see a return investment & technology..This is often why it can take decades for superior tech to come to the forefront...Money.

Exactly... existing investments need to be recovered before the next tranche is spent so it can take 5-10-15 years before "new" technology becomes mainstream
