I've just started to research the future direction of graphite and I'm hoping that someone could help me?
A report by Benchmark Mineral Intelligence (link) indicates by 2020 there will be a demand of 360ktpa of medium flake graphite to feed the spherical graphite market.
But I'm lost! Once SYR has their Balama project in operation they will produce 355ktpa (report). With all of the hype around Li-ion batteries, future demands etc. there must surely be more room than just SYR alone?
Graphite Boom - What am I missing?
