Sugarloaf will supply mostly amorphous graphite. The amorphous market is 700,000 – 800,000tpa and the flake around 300,000 – 400,000t. China has just closed 180 graphite mines in Hunan province which will remove some 200,000t of mostly amorphous capacity from the market.
The results today are great as now we have both types of Graphite and flake does command more money on the market.
Usually l would take some profits today but l bought more.
The graphite market is much bigger than the rare earth market that ran huge in 2010.
