'Ask yourself why hasn't the largest Natural Graphite Company Asbury Graphite Mills, Inc. invested in any graphite mines.'

Because Asbury has gotten all it needed from China and Madagascar. Buying the Brazillian (or Spanish??) stuff too. They can buy it cheap from those jurisdictions hence why they are sitting on the ground they own in Canada near Timcal's mine. Can't sell that good canadian stuff while low cost competitors are out there so Asbury chosen to instead leave it in the ground. Also cant compete with Timcal who are pulling more out of the ground than they can sell.

No. We understand graphite market just fine. But do these graphite market players understand other markets. For example why hybrids will never overtake pure EVs? Believe that Asbury fellas didn't understand the riddle with that one - hence why he went on the record saying G demand will only grow in 5% increments and not more. Because he thought hybrids would grow much faster than EV and those hybrids dont use much graphite.

I've seen smart people get it wrong all the time. I call it the Eskimo mental block. Ice is sold to Eskimos everyday. This is no different.
