I agree that all auto manufacturers should be more focused on the upstream supply of their raw resources, Tesla seems to be the only one so far that understands this, showed with their offtake with SYR and others.
I dont know where VW, GM, Ford, etc etc etc are planning to do? They all seem to think that batteries are going to magically appear. Toyota at least understands the lack of reaources and has pushed hard on their hybrids. But all these gigafactories being set up all over the world dont compute in my head, how they all plan to secure the resources they will need?
Well i am a part of the fad..pick up my Tesla 3 next week.
