fine flake graphite -100 mesh is up like 14% in May - how do you know that? Benchmark Minerals Intelligence is reporting +2.8% for all natural graphite.
There are various reasons why SYR doesn't get these prices straight away. Because of the shipping issues, SYR have a backlog of orders on the older prices when the contracts where signed. Also there is no formal pricing structure for graphite, so what SYR sells it at is fluid. The prices we see are a guide.
As for the SP, you need to be able to ship the graphite in quantity to shift the dial. We need to ship 10kt/mth just to break even.
