Fastmarkets are 2 price rises behind. There is a 1.6% and 1.63% to come adding another $20 to the price making it $620. The bad new is there was no price rise today. Our streak is over.
The comments at the bottom make sense: Prices for flake fines - graphite flake 94% C, -100 mesh, fob China - continued to rise amid widespread supply concerns, while larger flake graphite remained stable with low liquidity.
Under the Trade Analysis heading in Asian Metals, the top two articles are titled - China's flake graphite export volume increased by 33.03% YoY in September and China's flake graphite import volume grew 213.43% YoY in September. The first is large size flake and the second battery grade. Remembering of course, September last year was off a low base but another positive sign.
