This is huge news announced today by Benchmark Minerals. They are launching a new ex-China graphite price to reflect price trends outside of China. With the current supply dominance and saturation of Graphite by China, the impact this has on Graphite prices is unfavourable. However, with the required shift of supply to the western world, now with an ex-China graphite price, I look forward to seeing negotiations for BOA occurring using these prices. This is going to enhance transparency and provide market players with much more of a valuable insight. Look forward to seeing the difference in prices!
