Please don't confuse the two different processes.

When Chris talks about it losing its spherical shape, he is talking about Black Mass (graphite) - which comes from the recycling of Lithium-ion batteries. the batteries are chopped then treated through many chemical processes to recover all of the battery elements- EGR's ASX announcements confirm this.

Production Scrap - (Graphite) is only treating the anode material that is lost during coating, the anode material (Graphite, Synthetic Graphite, binder, and Silicon) maintains its shape after the EcoGraf purification process, this can be reused in new lithium-ion batteries.
