the gravity circuit they are/were looking at is intra circuit. It can't improve recovery because it's already recovered, that is unless the leach circuit isn't working right, but typically that sort of leach circuit achieves 96-97% recovery under the right conditions. On processing costs, it can't reduce them since it's an addition. that is unless it can recover something like 40-60% of the gold which would impact the operating conditions of the leach circuit in a favourable manner. I doubt it would recover any more than about 5%. There is a reason why the place had run for 15 years without it. Also given the hiccups during restart, one would have to ensure that the gold was not present because of the restart and that the gold would be a normal and continuous occurrance otherwise it would be a complete waste of time.
