This morning's 'Age' highlights the leverage GRN has to any strikes at its three current drill sites: Gawler Craton, Broken Hill ('an unexplained gravity anomaly the size of Broken Hill') and Ellendale where it has a diamond JV with KIM.
Till a week ago, GRN was trading not far above its cash backing (approx. 19 cents a share). Yesterday it soared 25% to .345. This staggering rise however is still far short of its highs late 2003 when it traded at .72 per share.
The drill results are due from mid to end July so look for more SP action during the next few weeks.
