ASX Release 23 May 2008 GRAVITY SURVEY IN PROGRESS TO DEFINE IRON ORE TARGETS AT TELYAGEL, EAST PILBARA HIGHLIGHTS „h Gravity survey underway at Telyagel Iron Ore Project, 140km east of Port Hedland. „h Targeting potential CID, DSO and magnetite iron ore deposits in close proximity to excellent East Pilbara infrastructure. „h Drill testing of resultant targets planned towards the end of 2008, subject to statutory approvals and drill rig availability. Diversified explorer Brumby Resources Limited (ASX: BMY ¡V ¡§Brumby¡¨) is pleased to announce a detailed ground-based gravity survey is underway to better define a series of iron ore exploration targets at its 100%-owned Telyagel Project, located approximately 140km east of Port Hedland in Western Australia¡¦s East Pilbara region. The Telyagel Project comprises two granted Exploration Licences (E45/2576 and E45/2577) covering an area of 310km2 within the north-eastern section of Brumby's extensive East Pilbara iron ore exploration portfolio (1,328km2). The Telyagel tenements lie 30 kilometres east of Brumby's Pardoo East Project, where drilling is scheduled later this year, and 80 kilometres east of the Company¡¦s Goldsworthy Project (see Figure 1). The Telyagel and adjoining Pardoo East tenements are located in close proximity to the coast and the excellent infrastructure of the East Pilbara region, including the BHPB Goldsworthy railway line, coastal highway, gas pipeline, as well as several historic, current and emerging iron ore mines. Figure 1 - Pilbara Iron Ore Project Locations Detailed aeromagnetic-radiometric surveys were flown by Brumby over the Telyagel tenements during 2006/07. These surveys defined a large magnetic sequence of rocks below cover, as shown in Figure 2 below: Figure 2 - Telyagel Total Magnetic Intensity The magnetic highs within the highly magnetic sequence are interpreted to represent potential magnetite deposits associated with the regionally significant Nimingarra Iron Formation. This extensive unit hosts historical, current and emerging iron ore deposits in the general Yarri, Goldsworthy and Pardoo iron ore province. The aeromagnetic data also highlighted several areas of possible channel patterns draining from the magnetic sequence. These drainage patterns could represent potential Channel Iron Deposits (CID) under cover. Brumby has contracted Haines Surveys to complete the gravity survey over the north-western section of the Telyagel tenements over the magnetic sequences and certain associated drainage patterns to specifically identify potential CID's, Direct Shipping Ore (DSO) and magnetite iron ore deposits. Drill testing of resultant targets is planned towards the end of 2008 once the data has been interpreted, subject to statutory approvals and drill rig availability.
