Description:

The NBN Co Alarm Aggregators RFP will consist of 3 stages:

* Stage 1 Stand alone solution providing alarm interface between NBN Co facilities alarms and the NBN Co. NSOC. Connectivity from the Alarm Aggregation device back to NBN Co. NSOC shall be via a dedicated Out of Band (OOB) management network, protection switching and routing shall be managed by NBN Co. furnished equipment. This Stage is considered Mandatory in this RFP.
* Stage 2 Integration to NBN Co. OSS and manual management interface between NBN Co. Access Equipment (asynchronous communications ports) and the NSOC. Connectivity from the Alarm Aggregation device back to NBN Co. NSOC shall be via a dedicated Out of Band (OOB) management network, MPLS protection switching and routing shall be managed by NBN Co. furnished equipment. This Stage is considered Mandatory in this RFP.
* Stage 3 - Fully automated Connectivity from the Alarm Aggregation device back to NBN Co. NSOC. The solution shall provide MPLS switching and routing functions without the need for additional equipment. Note that this Stage is optional.
