An abandoned copper mine.

Blatchford 1912 states large copper deposit similar to Whim Creek. Discovered by Kelly and party although no date is mentioned. On the surface was a series of lodes of malachite, being nine lodes running parallel across a 300 foot wide belt. In 1912 only shallow costeaning had taken place, and a shaft down to 32 feet. This was on a lode 7 feet thick containing malachite, cuprite, and unhelpfully 'etc'. Valued at a significant 30% Cu. The lodes strike north-west to south-east, dipping steeply north-east.

Hosted by chloritic schist, weakly pyritic, and a kaolinized oxidised zone, adjacent to the ore horizon. The main workings are in a trough in a syncline, workings following the folds in this syncline. There is an extensive stratabound ore horizon, one metre thick, and 50 metres above the base of the schist. The horizon is massive limonite with malachite, chalcocite, cuprite and quartz.

Intermittent production 1920-1958 of 1132 tonnes of copper ore averaging 21% Cu, then 1951-1968 at 1911.8 tonnes of cupreous ore averaging 12.87% from the oxidised and supergene zone.
