Because, he just found out that his farm at Barradine has been earmarked for CSG drilling, and he started commenting that Farmers are getting the rough end of the stick by not being allowed to do anything on their farms, (only the mining companies can), and by not getting sufficient and fair compensation from the CSG companies.
Amazing how thing can change when their own land is at stake.
