I say its likely to be marginal.... at best. STX mangement don't want to give up their big blind which is very understandable and defendable even.... An investors decision is a separate issue however with responsibilities only to themselves.

I have no interest in VIL whatsoever and have no idea what its management is like. However, what I do know is the STX management. SA and the team is probably as conservative and prudent as you can get. In my 3-4 years of investing with them, I have never ever seen one statement that ramps up a prospect more than it deserves. In fact, they often stands accused of understating their achievement.

All I am saying is that whilst lessons learnt is priceless in investing, it must also be applied applicably and not generically across the board. Otherwise, it's like comparing management of B&B to those of Berkshire Hathaway.

That's my views anyway.
