Wrong, bleaching is not a changing of zooxanthellae mechanism. Nor is it a moving locations mechanism.

Bleaching is the result of zooxanthellae being expelled from the coral polyps due to high temperatures or stress.
If conditions do not return to normal around 12 weeks to allow zooxanthellae to return then the coral die.
