Very good article, yes the Germans are scaredy cats when it comes to stocks and the stock market and have never developed a real stock culture. But that is historically conditioned. They fear inflation even more.
Regarding competitor Bijou B, a few more comments: they already had 1,175 (peak) stores in 2011 and have cleaned up, especially through Corona, to now only about 900 profitable stores. This could also happen to Lovisa one day. And not to be overlooked: in Europe, Lovisa has not yet made a profit on the bottom line! Here, according to my survey, Lovisa ranks only fourth after Claire's, Bijou B and beeline! But there are many more (small) competitors. I did not count Pandora among them, because they play in a different price range and jewelry area!
