I suspect you are either a shorter or related to the practice. Shorter price manipulation is, as you would know, very common - even been written up a bit in the press recently. It has a very detrimental impact on the Aussie sharemarket but is not policed by the authorities, likely because they see it as "normal" operations for the big end of town and in some cases have previously worked there and used their "experience" to gain positions of authority.
