Hi hotfire,

I am also still in PLA and like you like the longer term growth story.

My cost is around A$0.95 and PLA has been disappointing in 2010. Having said that I have never had an easy ride with Platinum miners and production problems seem to be an inevitable part of this difficult mining business.

PLA are definitely going through a learning curve at Smoky Hills (SH) and the optimistic comments on production withought stoping redundancy in hindsight are an indication of this inexperience.

I would like to beleive that going forward things can only get better with PLA and where we see evidence of SH production improving then there should be a rerating of the shares.

What we also need to see is some tangible progress on Kalplats and further on at Rooderand. One mine companies pose a much higher risk and with diversification into multiple sites the appeal of the shares should increase.
