I can not see the gap on a daily chart you are referring too. Just remember companies with low volume and market cap, can gap all over the place. It's good to see that over the past 6 months the AEM chart does not display those characteristics.

In relation to your comment, that "news should do that hopefully", it sounds as though you are trying to talk down the price. As this is not a shortable stock, I could only guess that this would be for you to accumulate more shares.
