What’s your thinking on the best day for an announcement on the flow rates?

You might like to consider if the critical dates are:

1. Rights Offer Closes - Tuesday 6th June 2006
2. Issue of New Shares – Wednesday 14th June 2006

If you were running the company you might want to:

1. Choose a day that would allow further upward movement in the price (whilst fewer shares are on issue)
2. Consider a day for the announcement following a good day in the US markets (like today)
3. Wait as close as possible to when all the cheques are in the mail for the rights issue shares (6/6/06)
4. Make the announcement before all the extra rights issue shares can be sold (15/06/06)

So wouldn’t that be on a date anytime from now until 15th June.

Preferably you would choose a time when the markets were in a positive mood wouldn’t you?

So if you exclude public holidays before the 15th June, that leaves only 7 trading days left after today, in which to choose a good news day in the markets. How many days like that will there be before the 15th June? Not many!

Probably not many buying opportunities left before the big announcement.
