Hi guys,
Its very hard to say what will happen from here and where we are going.
I remember when I was a shareholder of HDR, Hardman resources and they started drilling at lake Albert in Uganda.
They expected that there could be oil down there and although the area was pretty much isolated they went to drill it.
And they found oil in the first well and the more they drilled the more they found, but still they where not sure if it would be economical and worth developing.
But they where not to find out...
Hardman run into troubles in their ofshore Mauritanian Oilfield, wich just did not produce as was expected and they became vulnerable.
They got taken-over by Tullow oil and Tullow liked Uganda and kept drilling and now has a proven 4 BILLION BARRELS of oil at Lake Albert.
We shareholders of HDR lost out but I always remember that it was this aussie oiler that opened up a totally new oil province.
Could Central do the same thing in Central Australia??
They have a HUGE tenement and they found oil in 80 meters interval so far, and still drilling ahead.
Nothing is Impossible, as we know that in the past the centre of Australia was covered in dense rainforest with lakes and rivers.
We have already heaps of coal in our tenement , if we would sell that we would have already a company maker.
So why should the area not have enough oil hidden in the ground to make this an new oil province?
Santos found enough oil, not that far away and developed it and has been producing now for many years.
There is NO reason to believe that Santos found the only commercial oil pool in Central Australia, if anything it would be very unlikely.
So if this well is going to be commercial we could see the beginning new serious oil production coming out central australia
.
And if its not commercial then we have now strong leads and can go back to the data to look where to drill the next hole.
I feel cautious optimistic about what Central has in store for us.
But time will tell.
Good luck to all
