Like very common, you would have seen banks offering $3000.oo bonus if you change Home Loan providers .....so the Home Loan customer acquisition cost for bank is is $3000......what you pay later to service loan is different.............if the bank acquires 1m cust then acquisition cost is 1m x $3000.
Similarly in the Startup/ fintech world , for a verified customer ie. Name, email (verified with OTP), phone no (verified with OTP) and no business done yet acquisition cost is US$36 or AUD$57 and
Verified customer paying at least $10/mth subscription etc , one can pay US$296 =AUD $420 appox for customer acquisition.......
What you are saying is that $10 is the servicing the customer pays to fund the bnpl......all IMO only, not a financial advise .....DYOR
