Have to say, in nearly five years of posting on HC/UNI, I've never read so much uninformed, deliberately mischievous if not manipulative rubbish. Each to their own I guess.

Funny how when we were waiting for the Exclusive License Agreement and then the Industrialisation Agreement, both were significantly later than initially forecast. And yes, the world was ending then, too. But guess what? Alan came through, as he will this time. What are we - two weeks overdue from the forecst of H2 for SA Supply Agreement plus Pharma #2? Quelle horreur!

Ask yourself this - why was the Exclusive License Agreement six months late? Ans: Because it was a far bigger, further reaching, more complex deal than anyone thought or dared imagine. Didn't stop the downrampers though. Heck no. The sky was falling in, the sun was going to stop shining, the SP was going back to zero and Alan Shortall was the worst CEO on the planet, that is until he brought home $50 million of prime Sanofi bacon. The more things change.

In this respect Pharmaxis CEO Alan Robertson's comments in the AFR earlier this week re the Australian biotech industry are instructive.

Said Robertson, "You have to have the patience of a saint, all of us in this sector do. It has taken us nine years just to get to this point with a product in the market."

So to those who are taking your cheap shots at Alan and those of us who have posted diligently and accurately over the years, I say have your fun. Soon enough it'll all be over, the Supply Agreements will be in the bag with many more to come and Unilife will do what Alan has always said it will do - disrupt the status quo of the global sharps market.

Which of course is when it's going to get REALLY interesting.

BTW, Redpill, astute observation. Didn't realise you went back that far!

Anyway, all good fun. Haven't been wrong yet about Unilife or Alan Shortall and I never will be. We're in very safe, hard working, diligent hands. All good, IMO. In fact,
better than good. Most excellent.

Can't wait for reveille!
