Interestingly MND posted a very good result, as did NWH.
Both have had short interest jump by 31% for NWH and 22% for MND, over a 10 dma.
On the day of NWH report announcement shorts jumped 200% (2.72mil total aggregrate). Why?
Both have very good FF dividends on offer, NWH 10 cents (record date 8 oct), 75 cents for MND (record date 10th Sept).
Then looking short action on the likes of
DOW +6% vs 10average
MAH +4%
TSE +5%
BKN +5%
I am stumped at the game plan.
Is it to short the stock, then use that weight to sell holdings down, only to buy them back 20% cheaper, thereby having greater yield % on the dividend?
