I was scratching around the mid West in 1990, when Carmen Lawrence put on the beers at the Sandstone pub, in order to announce the bitumising of the Road from to Magnet to Townsville.
Glad the Australian people have only had to wait 32 years in order to hopefully get the job done... ( sarcastic thumbs up. )
