With most sports it is the participants at risk of death. With shooting it is innocent hikers. Big difference.

before you post rubbish, how about you do some research FIRST, as this will stop you looking like a fool !
there has been hunting in Victorian NP's since about 1980's and I cannot find anywhere, anywhere where a bush walker has been shot
but there has been bush walkers hit by snakes and or hurt themselves... maybe you're just a confused person FW ?
then lets think
lets be fair and reasonable
lets be fair
so called bush walkers don't own the NP's
and to be reasonable
surely the NP's should be shared by ALL groups
therefore so called bush walkers should share with hunters the parklands
with the bonus being the removal of feral animals from the NP's
and the cost to NP's will be nothing
now surely you would also want the NP's removed of feral animals ?
to help your lack of research Free W
you will not, do not know, just like 99% of NPstaff, don't or cannot be bothered to know
that NSW State Foresty has legal hunting
there has been no Foresty staff hurt by gun fire
however
there has been about 600,000 FERAL animals removed from the State's Forests for free by hunters in the last couple of years
which to any caring and thinking person would be wonderful, almost thrilling to remove that many wild pigs, cats, foxes, wild dogs and more
AND NOW
National Parks will obtain this free service shortly
You cannot know the above facts, because of you're making silly, non thinking statements, the NP's are huge breeding grounds for all these feral pests
just ask anybody who farms nearby or someone who fishes the Parks about the feral animals in the Parks
BEFORE you make silly posts
