Summary:
Recent drilling within the Inferred resource blocks of the
existing resource intersected 9.84 g/t Au and 41.6 g/t Ag over
2.05 m, confirming the continuity of the high grade of gold and
silver mineralization within this zone.
Two NQ holes and one AQ hole also intersected significant
gold mineralisation in what is interpreted to be the extension of
the Cononish main vein. The best result of 7.84 g/t Au and
12.2 g/t Ag over 3.60 m was recorded in hole EA 02.
Snowden Mining Industry Consultants Ltd (Snowden) has
reviewed the historical data relating to the eastern extension
and determined an addition to the Inferred Mineral Resource of
26,000t @ 7.9g/t Au. Five other potential blocks have been
identified at the adit elevation and are the target of the current
underground AQ drilling program.
The total inventory at Cononish now stands at 163,000
ounces of gold and 596,000 ounces of silver.
