Something happened along the way-- just after his announcement that hospitals were getting overwhelmed in WA -- at the time when there was zero covid in the state and hadn't been for two years outside of quarantine. There is no plausible way he could blame it on covid , and I think that's where he made a mistake.
Imo, his handlers pulled him aside and thrashed him. Can anyone else put forth a better reason why he would suddenly throw all ethics out the window, announce mandates, threaten to ruin anyone who doesn't comply, then start lying thru his teeth in direct contradiction to the recent data ?
