its hard to know how far along they are with the planning. the whole lot would take a year but long leads like casing might only be 6 months. they would really want a rig in the next couple of weeks i think...
the government seems to be well behind them and actively assisting in finding a rig so they may also just allow them to run over their term and drill as soon as is possible.
i think it will happen this year, just not in august...
anyone know about other ultradeep drilling activity in this region this year? there must be a bit - theres always a fair bit going on in SE Asia
