What News... What Announcement. LOL....It said nothing but really stirred the punters up here and the UK.
I love the comment " Company understands that decisions in respect to the Company's Exclusive Prospecting Licences ("EPL's"), consisting of the Erongo Project (EPL 2805 2811) and the Skeleton Coast Project (EPL 2698-2700), are imminent."
Say nothing about uranium or the likely hood of approval. I would read it as being up in the air.
I guess time will tell.................
Cheers, Brantley

Hi All,
Rec'd this information from my source in Namibia:
QUOTE================== Re Reefton: Last I checked, there was nothing in the file on their applying for U as well (except for application for a MDRL pending since last year - June. They would have had to do so in terms of Section 73 (b) of the local Mining Act, and posted a public notice to this effect... which I have not seen any sign of yet. =======================
======================= See definition of Section 73(b) Of PART X Provisions relating to exclusive prospecting licences below. ============================ This comment seems to fit into an email rec'd by a poster over at HC. I cannot verify the validity of this email from Bradley Moore. See below.
Maybe someone who has talked with Bradley Moore can comment on the informatiom above and the email below. =============================

Reply I got today, cheers.
My name is Bradley Moore, Chairman of Reefton Mining NL.
In relation to the renewal applications, the Company will keep the market abreast of any developments in this regard. To date there has been no further progress on the renewal of the leases nor the inclusion of nuclear fuels at Erongo, nor Industrial Minerals at the Skeleton Coast.
Mr Gilbert (CEO) resigned from the Company following the expiry of his contract term. Rather than re-negotiate an extended term, Mr Gilbert wished to leave the Company to pursue other opportunities, and take some personal time out. This came as a complete surprise to the Company. Whilst inconvenient and untimely, Mr Gilberts decision does leave the Company with the ability to recruit a more experienced person to take off where Mr Gilbert left. This can be viewed as a positive.
Looking forward the Company has all of the requisite skills necessary to continue with its current operations, and in no way do I consider Mr Gilbert’s departure an event that would effect the relationship with the Namibian government, nor the success of its exploration activities of the Company.
The exploration programme at Erongo has been completed and the only results that are pending, as announced to ASX, are the drill assays. The Company will keep the market abreast of any developments in this regard.
Should you have any further queries please feel free to call me on 08 9322 7822.
Regards,
Bradley Moore. ==============================
