No worries mate, i was talking to Oel this morning when they returned a call i made last week when they were in Manila on a bad line/ mobile.
At this stage id only seen the 1st announcement and didnt know about the Bhp deal but knew straight away from the bouyant vibe something extra was happening.
Anyway was rapt in the news and asked every possible question about the deal and all the concerns that have been on HC over the last week or 2.
Apparently the DOE r a very respectable and honourable mob in their dealings with OEL and OELs never had a problem with them.
Trust me, this is a great outcome and a done deal. Otto should be able to pick and choose the farmout they want or if push comes to shove they'll finance it on their own.
Its actually turned out to be a better postion than with BHP,cant see oel farming down below 35%.
Got to thank BHP they have effectively pumped around $60M into SC55 that gives Oel and any farminee a great head start.
