If you have all of youre contract notes and CHESS statements and dividend cheque butts, take it to yorue accountant and they do the rest cost me $350 to do my regular tax return and then CGT return. And the best part is they get it right and next financial year i claim the whole lot back. Anything held over 12 months i think is taxed at 50% the under 12 month capital gain is (at least that is my take)
