great position in eastern lachlan fold belt

Argent is a silver story with a copper lining. The map below shows well it's position in the Eastern Lachlan Fold Belt and in the next post the second map shows the enormous number of existing discoveries in the area.The third post and map shows ARD's ground position on the main regional fault -"Copperhania Fault" I think it has just been sold down in EOFY book clearing and don't see much resistance before 6c . Recent announcements by the company show the MD David Busch needs to achieve a number of milestones to make the most of his remuneration package,as such he has plenty of incentive to get this company to mining stage. My interest in ARD grew out of a news report we all would have seen 6 weeks ago where Newcrest were spanked in the courts by a "junior explorer" called Gold and Copper Resources over one of their Cadia leases.My first reaction was to see if that junior was listed on the ASX -it wasn't but further research revealed they had the use of specialized IP technology(Zeus) which had been instrumental in the discovery of Oyu Tolgoi in Mongolia. There are numerous references on the internet showing that in 2011 the Friedland family(google Robert Friedland,Ivanhoe mines) held 50% of Gold and Copper Resources Pty Ltd however a recent ASIC search shows the principal shareholder in Gold and Copper Resources is now Brian Locke (roughly 55%)
I spent a fair bit of time looking at historical records for this area and there were a number of copper mines in existence many years ago in the area around Argent's ground with one actually located (as far as I can ascertain)just to the west of ARD's very high priority "Causeway Zone" prospect which it turns out to be an area where ARD's geologists believe to be likely to host a VMS Cu+Au deposit. The area is host to an amazing array of deposit types -porphyry,epithermal,VMS hydrothermal sulphides and orogenic Au.
