This is why 'Grade is king' and we have it in spades. RTG is one of the highest grade plays out there for an equivalent grade of 6.4g/t Au. This resource is open cut and close to port with tiny capex requirements. They don't get much better than this. I reckon this is pointing towards being the lowest cost producer listed. Who would be cheaper considering we are a DSO project for the first 2 years?
Mabilo is in the top tier of these deposits in the world, so expect us to be mining in 2015 and printing money with these head grades. The Aussie dollar is going down and gold seems to be range bound between $1100 - $1200 at the moment. There will be winners in this space, even though the market lumps everyone in the same basket. You could name decent mines on one hand in just about every sector now. The boom bust has left us with a handful of good plays and they simply become targets to the likes of OZL and SFR as their mines deplete. RTG is a no brainer imo, regardless of volatitiy, it should be a clear winner as it develops and funds, and analysts work it out. We already have 3 brokers who have placed a price target of approx $2 already, so its compelling for those who can hold on. The value is there imo. dyor/
