Probably the most disappointing stock I've ever owned. So much resource and so little promise or urgency to get it out of the ground. Then again, if you earned $200+K per year why would you try harder if you were getting paid the same amount every year no matter what the outcome. Good to see the management performance options expired worthless FWIW...Management should be rewarded for good results, not for sitting on their hands.
I saw a recent article about China wanting to invest another $500 billion on resource/infrastructure/energy projects worldwide. I wonder if SPM management are hip to this...Probably not...
