Hi Welsho54,
Thank you, and a pleasure.
Regarding the lack of explanation or side by side comparison, I would imagine it highly likely that EMH are under a confidentiality clause to not discuss the L-Max process publicly.
Further to your comments about the silicate production, my thoughts are that investigation of this by product is relatively important.
Just doing a little research into LPDs releases over the last recent while have been interesting. Who actually realised the scale of the silicate production and its value in the process? I am by no means an expert here, so forgive me if in error.
In their release of 26-10-16 sodium silicate is listed as a "potential by product" with a value of $200/t

In the release of 25-11-16 sodium silicate is still listed as a by product, no quantity.

In the release of 16-01-17, they report the following.
"A 36% sodium silicate solution was produced with a SiO2/Na2O ratio of 1.94. This is consistent with the grade of saleable sodium silicate and thereby represents a further valuable potential by-product of L-Max®."
Still no mention of quantity.

It is not until the release of 31-01-17, just a few months before the release of the EMH PFS, that a still "potential" by product of sodium silicate is produced from the process, some 40-45 thousand tonnes of it.
That is some potential by product!
I hope you don't mind me recycling your goat f%#king analogy, but from my perspective it would look like someone else f%#ked the goat and passed it to EMH for inspection before the barn lights came on.
This research has reinforced to me that our BoD have acted in the best interests of the company, and have potentially been reporting the correct available information all along.
I wish the very best of luck to you, I'm sure you've done well out of your investment.
