Czech is a net importer of gas. The question should be, is there enough available in the Cinovec region to support roasting activities?

The roaster, will probably be more like 2 or 3 (based on size/ mass throughput) and yes @juk each ~100m long.

Nobody roasts Zinnwaldite - so, "uncommon" or unheard of would be the answer . From a technical perspective, roasting Zinnwaldite carries as much risk as leaching it. A few small Chinese operators roast lepidolite, but this is a completely different process using acid- like spodumene roasts- (does not use sodium sulphate). Besides the Chinese process being different, the roaster is significantly smaller, does not recycle reagent and the downstream impurity treatment and lithium carbonate production route is different. In addition, there are different impurities with Zinnwaldite that will need addressing.

Lepidolite roasts are typically operated only when there is no spodumene available and are plagued with process difficulties. Cadence through Bacanora on the other hand are trying to get a sodium sulphate roast on clay to work.

@barwood, those IRR interpretations might be alright if capital was no obstacle, but in reality, <20 I wouldnt bother, >20 <30 more work required, >30 <40 a good project, >40 a no brainer.

Cinovec has huge potential, but EMH cant blindly follow what others are doing because they themselves are breaking new ground.
