The thing with all these Aussie shale companies is that nobody has declared commerciality yet .

There is still a big question mark about whether Australia will be able to establish a shale industry .

However , if your want a big return , you have to take a chance and get in early .


The popular press have been citing higher costs as an obstacle but I don't really buy that .

The areas involved are huge and it's not clear what the recovery rates per square mile/square kilometer section will be or what percentage of the acreage is prospective .

I have shares in a lot of Aussie onshore exploration companies including this one .

Once someone declares commerciality with expected ultimate recoveries per section , and it looks like things will actually go into production valuations will start to change .

NWE may be doing that very soon with their Arrowsmith 2 well .
