Considering the discount rate has gone up quite a bit. Crap raise looking very unlikely. Beat guidance by a smidge.
Better to have a reduced div than concerns that capital adequacy will get tight IMO.
Had to take a long punt this morning after the SP seemed to find support. We'll see what happens .
There must be a buyer who thinks QBE traders are superstitious - as a big bogus sell order of 33616 keeps appearing (sort of 666 if you add the 3s together). Funnier thing is that it seems to work for a few ticks every time too.
