Much like in medical research, you need to have a entry, growth, and exit strategy. Predatory VC capital is required, and dilutive. Don't fall in love with any company as it requires different funding and skills throughout time. You guys are going to have volatility, dilution, and uncertainty. That is the nature of resources juniors, and medical research start ups, they both require the best experts and predatory finance to get over the line. I love Benetech as a researcher, and would love to invest, but there is fierce competition by much bigger companies that are likely to upstage you (Hep C, as a case in point). Another company got through clinical trials and FDA approval first, so their RNA interference technology couldn't compete. Who knows, a massive resource may be developed in the East coast market that doesn't need fracking, or more likely that solar power mothballs gas fired power stations thanks to storage solutions from Elon Musk or someone better from China. Accept that or move on.
