To Cudeco's Wayne McCrae for his February speech to the Sydney Mining Club (where Pierpont is patron). Wayne's speech was refreshingly free of tedious geological detail about Cudeco's copper discovery at Rocklands, instead providing a video simply showing big explosions to mark his discoveries in western Queensland. He also forecast that Cudeco was so hot that it would be taken over, saying: "As sure as the sun comes up tomorrow, we will not own this company by December." That was on February 1, the sun did come up on February 2, December is now with us and Cudeco has not yet been taken over.
