Do you even know how sophisticated investors trade?
Do you think they just dump their $100k+ orders in the book and wait for someone to hit them?
No, they do things like iceberg them or trade them to VWAP with an algo or any other number of execution strategies...

A really basic order type is an iceberg where you asign it a number of your choosing, and it will feed random orders in using that number as a base factor.

eg. You have to sell 10000 shares, and you asign a factor of 3, so it feeds in random chunks divisible by 3 until that 10000 is executed, ie. 27, 9, 42, 3, 9 etc. This disguises the buyer or sellers intentions in what is quite a THIN market...


there is no boogeyman bot, its just order flow.

Todays flow was alot easier to read, a clear profit taking bias, but substantial accumulation as well.

I won't be selling until the IPO gets priced...
