thats what i am counting on maddy, i was at a meeting a week and a half ago where there were resident litigants, and lawyers from sydney who will be participating in a class action - the finance coming from the US.
It appears there is a fairly sound case that they have in relation to losses attributed to a selling resident being forced to sell their unit to Aveo in order that Aveo can then lease back to new residents on a deal which significantly increased profits - which I never thought was legal anyway .
They have half the required numbers and this splurge in the fairfax papers, and on 4 corners tomorrow night is intended to drum up the rest. the media will no doubt carry the story along for some time - as you can't beat a good scandal.
So sales for some time are going be cut dramatically i would think
