I voted with my feet in terms of the insurance and not sure why I still hold the stock - maybe its just out of a sense of loyalty for past good service. A board that is always hotly contested by those that seek to sustain their past careers does not really instill me with confidence for the future.
No I wont be wasting my time at the next AGM.

I am sad as this was a great organisation for Australia. QBE does not have history of ex vice chancellors sportsman and civic figures on the Board - Maybe there is a message there. Boards should be made up by people who chase dollars successfully rather than those that have been successful by having money given to them.
