Interesting discussion on this thread. The way I see it, everyone is basically right, according to their particular perspectives.
Scouse is a 'glass half empty' girl. REO is a 'glass half full' guy. Abas is a 'glass runneth over' guy (at the moment at least). Everyone else is somewhere on that spectrum.
Forums work best where you get that range. It provides points and counterpoints - and an improved context for all contributors to finesse their arguments and positions. Maybe even on-going prompts to think outside the square.
